Sixteen Weeks...

How far along? Sixteen weeks.

Baby is the size of... an avocado.

Best moment this week?  To tell you guys the truth, it has been a TOUGH week!  Trial is an amazing experience, but I'm so exhausted and sleep-deprived, it's not even funny.  Thank goodness I'll be headed home to my love on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Miss anything?  Cold sandwiches.  They're the most obvious choice for trial lunches, and it has been tough trying to find something to eat instead (particularly when they look so delicious!).

Movement? Still feeling the occasional flutter, but I'm still not convinced it's the baby.  I'm so ready to feel a big ole kick! :)

Sleep?  Not sleeping quite as well this week, but I'm also not sleeping in my own bed or on my own pillow, so it definitely isn't surprising.

Food cravings?  I've been dying for sweet tea.

What makes you queasy/sick?  Nothing in particular.

Morning sickness? Nausea is about 99% gone. Amen.

Other symptoms?  Lovely hair and nails, atrocious skin.  Oh, and the beginnings of stretch marks.  I already knew those were coming, though, so it wasn't the end of the world.

Gender? Micah thinks it's a girl. I'm pretty positive it's a boy. :)

Looking forward to... going HOME and our doctor's appointment this Friday.

Yes... COLD sandwiches!! Seriously, when my dr told me no to those I about cried. LOL I love a good ole turkey sandwich. But that's one thing I'm willing to give up for the little one. Now I just order out and make sure to tell them HOT turkey sandwich. We go this afternoon. I'm sooo excited and nervous. So many emotions! =) I know you are ready for your bed, your husband and your pillow. I'm sure you'll sleep much better once you have those things back with you!!!

Gosh, I remember finding my very first stretch mark from the baby! I was in bathroom at work and pulled up my shirt to look at my belly. I realized right then that I had the brown pregnancy line that goes up from your belly button. Some people get it some don't. After I realized I had it, I walked out of the bathroom showing friends. That's the only time I've ever been excited about a stretch mark! ha!

The second time around, I was so anxious to find out if it was a boy or a girl we did the blood test and found out at 10 weeks, hehe!

Doesn't an avocado seem SO insignificant until you think about that being a life?! Holy Heck you're growing an avocado! Still so happy for you :)

Sounds like trail is just preparing your for being sleep deprived when you have a little non-sleeping newborn. Atleast when you are sleep deprived then you'll have something cute to look at!!

And girl, go eat yourself a cold turkey sandwich. I ate one almost everyday after my 1st trimester. I tried following all the rules with no turkey and no caffiene, etc. But my doctor said it was fine not too as long as it's in moderation. It's not going to hurt you or the baby. My doctor said as long as the meat was from a fresh cut deli it was TOTALLY fine. She just advised not to eat pacakaged turkey or the kind of pre-made sandwiches you would see like at a gas station or somewhere else. Those look nasty to me anyways. And she also said one can of coke a day was fine.

Just found your blog and I love it!

I love baby bump updates! I just started one with my second little one (I neglected to do it with my first).

Well, congrats! Can't wait to hear what the gender is! :D

Are you going to find out the gender? If so, you could go now to a 3d/4d ultrasound place. They are awesome!! I found out I was having a boy at 13 weeks!!! :)
