Coffee, anyone?

I've been scoping out coffee tables for awhile now.  It's been hard (for the reasons I mentioned here), but I finally have it narrowed down to a few, which are shown below. 

from here.  This one's my favorite, but Micah's not in love.

from here.  This matches our dining table, which would pull that color into the living room. 

from here.  Gorgeous, but probably just a little too dark.

from here. Clearly I'm into the idea of using a trunk.  I've looked into actual vintage steamer trunks, but I think it'd cost too much to have one restored to make it worthwhile.

And lastly, I like this one.  For some reason, Macy's won't let me save the picture.
