Because I haven't been quite random enough...

... I'm going to steal Bailey's idea and post a few randoms about me.  Just in case you were the least bit curious. :)

I'm good at...  loving Micah. Ha! But seriously... I really am.  If I could make a living by loving him more than any person ever could, I'd be a gazillionaire. :)

I'm happy when...  I've got everything on my "To Do" list scratched off.  I don't actually have a "To Do" list, but you get my point.

I'm working on... getting the office and the game room finished up in the next couple of months.  But I may or may not have purchased this beauty for the master bedroom this weekend.

I think it's cleverly casual, and it so goes with the beachy, airy look I'm going for in that room.  Plus, I got it for a steal, which is always more fun.  I'll post pictures when we figure out, for sure, where it's going in the room.

I'm interested in...  looking into getting a professional blog designer to pimp out my blog. (I just said "pimp."  I'm so thug.  Except I think when you have to tell people that you're thug, you're probably not really thug.)  My current setup is fine, but I'd love to let a professional take it and make it into something special.  Any suggestions?

I'm always...  happy.  Well, not always.  But most of the time.  I have no doubt that this is a precious gift from God, and I never take it for granted.

I'm enjoying...  Project Scripture

Seriously, y'all, I was so looking forward to starting Week Two yesterday!  There are several people following along via Facebook, as well, and it's so neat to see God taking this simple thing and using it to draw us closer to Him.  I really loved From House to Home's thoughts on last week's verse and am looking forward to learning from her reflections each week.

I am in...  the fourth month of my weight loss journey, and I can't believe I've already been dieting for so long! I put on some cute jeans yesterday, and Micah asked me whether they were new.  I smiled and told him that they were actually old and started thinking about how fun it will be when I get into my "skinny" clothes.  I still have a long way to go, but I WILL get there. :)

I am reading... The Love and Respect Experience Devotional with Micah on Sunday evenings and am loving it.

It's neat to think about things from his perspective, and I think it has been useful in helping him understand where I'm coming from, too.

I'm concerned about... how we're going to manage being wonderful parents when the time comes and juggle our jobs, too, as I've mentioned before.  But as Micah was praying over the situation last night, I really did feel an incredible sense of peace about it.  It really will work out, and I am trusting that the Lord will sweat the details so I don't have to.

I'm looking foward to...  the adventures that the next twelve months will bring.  I have a feeling it's going to be a crazy, exciting, scary, and prayer-filled year. :)

Aw, thanks for the mention! I am certainly enjoying Project Scripture. :) Also, I can so relate to the worries of having children and a career. This has been something weighing on me for the past several months. We need to chat about this sometime soon!
