Project Scripture: Week Twenty-Five... and some

Raise your hand if you had a fabulous weekend!

We definitely did.  Among other things...

... I got my hair done.  I L-O-V-E it.  I'll post pictures soon!

... Micah went fishing and caught some delicious crappie, which we pan fried and enjoyed for dinner that same night. Yum!  (And I tried a new recipe, of which I took step-by-step pictures like a good blogger, but it was a total flop, so I figured I'd spare you guys... :))

... We celebrated Fathers Day with our dads.  We kept it super low key - lunch at Micah's parents' and dinner at my dad's.

(Micah with his brother, nephew, and dad... such good, sweet men!)

... I went shopping and found two new swimsuits at Marshalls (where I was able to get TWO swimsuits for the same price as I paid for one at Target.  Have I mentioned how much I love Marshalls?).

... I laid out by the neighborhood pool (for only the second time in a year) and got the teensiest hint of a tan.  Although I'm still practically translucent...

So that's what we were up to this weekend... :)

And before I forget, here's this week's memory verse:

"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7.

Make it a great week, loves!

I love the idea of a weekly scripture. Memorizing scripture is definitely something I need to work on!

Sounds like a great weekend! Sorry your recipe was a flop. Sounds like I need to head to Marshall's soon. Have a great week!

I love Marshall's too! We were in Los Angeles last year and the first place I saw that I wanted to shop at was Marshall's! I was wrapping plates up in clean clothes and stuffing them in my suitcase to get them back here.

Glad you had a great weekend! That's a short and do-able verse :)
