I always love Kelly's Show Us Your Life link-up posts! I've gotten so many recipes/decorating/holiday ideas from her readers, and it's always so fun linking up. I'm also linking up with Miss Mustard Seed's Furniture Feature Friday - you should go drool over all the lovely pieces other readers have linked up!
So even though I'm a couple of days late, I want to join in on the home tours fun. This week's post is a tour of my living room, which is probably the most "done" room in the house (although I'd still love to do a LOT more in here!).
Here's a big-picture view of the living room/kitchen.
The outside of our house is pretty rustic, so I wanted to try and pull that theme in throughout the house. I have used mostly browns, greens, and white/cream, with a few pops of yellow throughout.
Our mantel is pretty simple, and it could definitely use more color. But I do love my monogrammed burlap boards, as well as the lanterns that I scored on clearance from Pottery Barn (after eyeing them for about six months!). The vase and greenery aren't really my favorite, but I haven't found anything I like better yet, so they're staying for now.
The coffee table/book/lanterns also came from Pottery Barn. (I may or may not have a slight obsession...)
Here's a better close-up of the lanterns.
We got our leather couch, love seat, and chair from Ashley furniture, and we have definitely been pleased.
And that blanket hanging off the side of the couch? It's probably one of my favorite things that I have ever bought. Yeah, I said EVER.
Here's a view of the entryway and stairs.
The media center was also another Pottery Barn clearance steal. Score!
Here's my memory verse board and blanket rack. The blanket rack also isn't my favorite thing, but I'm having a hard time finding something small/shallow enough to fit in that space.
I got on a glassware kick sometime around Christmas and never really got around to trying anything else. :) And I should definitely do something about all those albums/books on the shelf below...
Last but not least, here's the staircase nook that I've had the hardest time decorating.
My plan was to find a pretty upholstered armchair to put next to it to create a little reading nook, and I just haven't found the right thing yet.
So that's our living room! Still needs quite a bit of work, but I keep telling myself I'll get there. Eventually. :)

Very cute! I especially love that staircase and those lanterns.
Love your living room. I have this "thing" for lanterns! Love your little @ on the glass table! Was that from PB too? You have a knack for decorating...love the framed scripture!
Blessings!
Your style is definitely my style! I love that coffee table and media center. I have a thing for lanterns too. I usually get them at Michael's.
LOVE your coffee table, tv table and the lanterns. we have similar styles and like the same colors!
LOVE that tv stand and the monogrammed burlap. Our actual wedding was very rustic so I find that look perfect!
I love how open the living rooms feels, and I love the lanterns. But I think my favorite thing about your living room has to be that spiral staircase.
Love everything about your living room! Especially the memory verse board and coffee table!

I love your floor plan! When we start looking for a new home I definitely want my kitchen to flow into my living room/den.
Your home is so beautiful! I'm a PB addict myself!
SO jealous of that coffee table! Do you remember the name of it? I would love to try and search one out! My husband and I were just talking about needing a coffee table, but yours is just gorgeous! The room is wonderful!
Thanks so much for all the sweet comments, y'all!
Brie, I couldn't find a way to email you or leave you a comment, so I'm responding here! :)
It's actually this coffee table from Pottery Barn: http://www.potterybarn.com/products/hastings-reclaimed-wood-rectangular-coffee-table/. But they've discontinued it. :( For awhile there, World Market sold a look-alike, but I can't find it there either.
You seriously have one of the prettiest living rooms EVER. Love it! Wish you could come help me with mine. :)
