Thankful Thursdays (Link Up!)...

Loved and Lovely

I hope your week is going wonderfully!  Can you believe that mine actually hasn't been too crazy?  And can you believe that I'll likely have a relatively normal, work-free weekend?  I sure can't... not with trial three weeks away.  It's the little things, y'all.

With that in mind, let's talk thankfuls, shall we?

{I'm thankful} that my husband hasn't complained one tiny bit about how much I've been working lately. Good man, that one.

{I'm thankful} that you guys don't hate me for missing the Project Scripture verse TWO weeks in a row.  For good measure, here are last week's and this week's verses:

Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

{I'm thankful} for my sweet extended family.  I recognize that it probably isn't normal for people my age to adore their aunts and uncles and even great aunts and uncles the way I love mine.  They've just been such a blessing to me throughout my life, and I sure hope my niece and nephew feel that way about me someday.

{I'm thankful} that I finally got on the bandwagon and signed up to receive the Proverbs 31 Ministries daily devotion emails.  I had seen blog friends and family members talk about it, and it has been so nice to get a quick word of encouragement every morning, particularly when things are hectic.

{I'm thankful} for Mattito's Bob Armstrong Dip.  If you've never heard of it, you're likely not from Dallas.  Think queso + ground beef + guacamole + sour cream, all mixed together.  Think heaven.  And if you ever come to Dallas, you should make sure and try it.  Capiche?

{I'm thankful} for you guys.  I know I've been fairly lame lately, but you're sticking with me anyway.  God love you. :)

Alright lovelies.  Duty calls.  What are you guys thankful for this week?  Link up and tell us!

Is Matito's related to Matt's El Rancho in Austin? They have a very famous Bob Armstrong Dip I was pretty sure was an original. Here's an interesting article: http://www.austin360.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/food2/entries/2011/12/09/at_matts_el_rancho_meeting_the.html/?cxntfid=blogs_relish_austin It's freaking good queso. YUM!
