Yay for Thursday! I'm ridiculously excited for today, so I'm just going to jump right in.
{I'm thankful} that I'm going to the State Fair of Texas today!
I don't ride rides at fairs/carnivals even under normal circumstances (any piece of machinery that's that big and also portable just cannot be safe), but I definitely won't be riding them this year with this little pumpkin love that has taken residence in my belly. But I will be eating. A lot.
If you don't know, the State Fair of Texas is famous for deep frying just about anything. This year, I'm hoping to try the Fried Jambalaya, the Fried Red Velvet Cupcake, and the Fried Samoas. (But I'm pretty sure I'm going to stay clear of the Fried Sugar Cubes and the Chicken Fried Cactus Bites...)
I'm not going to lug my big camera around, but I'll try and Instagram all the delicious goodies. (If you're not already following, you can check out my handy little button over there to the right.)
{I'm thankful} that no one I know saw me driving to work this morning (or at least I hope not...). I was jamming to Taylor Swift's Red like no one's business. If you haven't already checked out her latest single, you should. Love, love, love.
{I'm thankful} that everyone at work has been so supportive/excited about our little one. It's nice to finally be able to explain to everyone why I have been such a zombie the past two months... :)
And last, but never least, {I'm thankful} for Micah. I came home last night, and he had dinner ready and had done all the dishes. And he let me watch X-Factor without complaining. Dude's gunning for husband of the year or something... :)

Have fun a the state fair! I always say I am going to go to my state's fair, but never make it. Oh well!

He just wants to make sure the mom of his little peanut is well taken care of!!! Here's one you'll never believe but it's true - I've never, ever been to a fair. Honest!! So have fun for me, too!

Carnivals are always my favorite. I'm not a ride person but all the laughter, games and food surely put me in a good mood, too :)
