Pride comes before the fall...

A word to the wise...

Before you go and brag on your blog about how you miraculously resisted the temptation to scarf down a SuperSonic Breakfast Burrito (with bacon instead of sausage and easy on the jalapenos, in case you were curious), consider the possibility that you probably don't have super-human strength and that talking about it might make you want one even more than you already did.

And then, when you finally do shamelessly give into temptation, you'll probably have to, in the interest of full disclosure, admit to the people who read your blog (and have encouraged and supported you on your weight loss journey in an incredible and uplifting way) that you did, in fact, subsequently drive through Sonic and indulge in the deliciousness that is the SuperSonic breakfast burrito.

I mean, hypothetically speaking, of course.

So don't be like me is what I'm saying.

(Hypothetically speaking.)

It's okay, we all do things like that. In fact I was so hungry for a donut this morning that I loaded up Pearson and went to the donut store that has a drive through. I was still in my PJ's without a bra on! Ha!! I wasn't going to tell anybody. It was going to be mine and Pearson's little secret but since you were being honest I thought I would be too.

Also.....do you follow Make It and Love It's blog. I thought of you when I saw this post since you are trying to be a runner!!

Thanks for that, Queenie. I've often heard that feeling guilty after splurging is MUCH worse for you than the splurge, itself, so I'm not letting myself feel bad about it. :)

Crystal, I could eat about 17 of those Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, myself. SO yum.

Katy, I haven't read her blog, but I LOVED that post. To my Google Reader her blog just went! (And I promise I won't tell anyone about your donut secret. I stopped MANY a time at a little drive through in Wylie on my way to UTD every morning during college. LOVE it.)

Girl! That's why I really love Weight Watchers!! I can indulge, and I can fall off the wagon ((not that I promote that or that WW promotes falling off said wagon)). It's all about choices. I can eat what I want, biggest thing being portion control. The likelihood that I could cut out chocolate or sweets entirely in my life after certain numbers scrolled on my scale would be setting myself up for failure!!! Indulge. Then run. That'll teach you!! Lol! ;)
